Isabel was born on the continent of Australia in Melbourne. She has a mother who is Swiss while her father is Australian. Her family came located in Cairns in Australia. They lived in Cairns Australia. Together with their sister Nina she attended schools which included First Nations children as well as students from different countries. Isabel lives in the Byron Bay area of NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in school. She continued to study acting at the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and also recently studied her studies in the PEM method Perdekamp the Emotional Technique. She never auditioned for parts until being spotted by an agent back in 2002. She was a part-time auditionee in Home and Away 1988. They weren't sure she was the right person to play the part, but they liked her performance and gave Tasha a new part. Isabel is an activist for animal rights, and has collaborated with a variety of environmental organisations. She has been a active PatronAmbassador at Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival HRAFF for the last 10 years, until 2020. Isabel is well-known for her environmental concerns as well as her dedication to ethical and social justice values, became a brand spokesperson and the face of several clothing and beauty campaigns.
